This Privacy Policy describes how Safety Zone Security, Inc.(“Safety Zone,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit safetyzone.us or request a quote for security guard services. Safety Zone is a licensed California security guard company (BSIS PPO #15063).

We do not sell products through this website, and we do not collect payment card information on it.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you use the quote tool or contact us, we collect the information you enter: your name, company, email address, phone number, the property address or city where you need coverage, your requested schedule and duties, and any notes you add. We collect this to prepare your quote, contact you about it, and arrange service.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. This is used to serve the site, keep it secure, and diagnose problems. We also apply basic rate limiting to our quote form to block automated abuse.

Analytics and advertising

We may use Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion measurement to understand how people find and use the site, and to measure the performance of our advertising. These services set cookies and may receive your IP address and on-site activity. If you arrive from an ad, the click identifier in the link (for example a Google gclid) may be recorded so we can attribute the visit to the campaign. You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on, and manage ad personalization in your Google Ad Settings.

Address autocomplete

The quote tool uses the Google Maps Places API to suggest addresses as you type. What you type into that field is sent to Google to return suggestions, subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

How we use your information

To calculate and deliver the quote you requested.
To contact you by phone or email about your request and to confirm service details.
To provide security guard services if you become a client.
To operate, secure, and improve the website.
To measure our advertising and understand which campaigns bring genuine inquiries.
To comply with law and to enforce our agreements.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with providers that help us run the business:

Hosting — Vercel Inc., which serves this website and processes server logs.
Quote delivery — Cloudflare (which routes form submissions) and SendGrid (which delivers the resulting email to our team and the confirmation to you).
Address suggestions — Google, for Maps Places autocomplete.
Analytics and advertising — Google, where those services are enabled.
Affiliates — SECURICO Guard Services, Inc., our affiliated operating company, which may handle your inquiry and service delivery.

We may also disclose information where required by law, in response to lawful requests by public authorities, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests and client records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal, tax, insurance, and licensing obligations. Server logs are retained for a shorter period as part of normal hosting operations.

Your California privacy rights

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, California residents have the right to:

Know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use it.
Request a copy of that information.
Request deletion of your information, subject to legal retention requirements.
Request correction of inaccurate information.
Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — note that we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.
Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Minors

This site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at info@safetyzone.us and we will delete it.

Quote submissions are transmitted over encrypted connections, and access to lead and client data is limited to staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our practices or for legal reasons. The “last updated” date above will change when we do.
